WAKE AND WITNESS Client Agreement and Terms and Conditions:

By purchasing any service, you agree to the terms outlined here.

This agreement applies to every session booked with Wake and Witness, including Shamanic Journeying and Reiki, Animal Communication, Energetic House Cleansing Ritual, and Spiritual Companioning and Life Coaching. By clicking to check out, or by replying to confirm a booking, you agree to the terms outlined below.

1. The Nature of These Services I freely consent to receive spiritual guidance, energy work, animal communication, or life coaching services from Marsena “Mars” Holsopple at Wake and Witness. There is no promise or guarantee of a particular outcome from any session. I am responsible for my own growth, choices, and behavior, and for any decisions I make during or after a session. I understand that these services are not medical care, mental health treatment, psychotherapy, veterinary care, or legal counsel. When journeying, communicating with an animal, or holding space in a session, Mars will share, to the best of her ability, what she senses, sees, hears, or otherwise experiences. What she shares is not prescriptive and is not a diagnosis. These sessions are not a substitute for counseling, psychotherapy, mental or behavioral health care, substance use treatment, veterinary care, medical care, or legal counsel. It is my responsibility to seek out that kind of professional support separately. For Animal Communication specifically: Mars is not a veterinarian, does not diagnose or treat animals, and does not offer medical advice about a pet’s health. Any concern about an animal’s physical wellbeing should be directed to a licensed veterinarian. Mars is glad to work alongside a vet, farrier, or other provider as part of a fuller picture of an animal’s care, not in place of one.

2. Confidentiality Sessions are confidential. Mars will not share what is discussed, or a client’s identity, without permission, with one exception: if she has reasonable cause to believe a client is at risk of harming themselves, or that a child or a vulnerable or elderly person is being abused, neglected, or is in a situation likely to result in abuse or neglect, she may take appropriate action to seek help, which could include contacting emergency services or another appropriate party. This is a professional relationship. Sexual intimacy between Mars and a client is never appropriate, under any circumstance.

3. Scheduling, Payment, and Cancellation Payment is made at checkout through Wake and Witness’s online store. Full payment must be made as shown at checkout. Because there is not yet an online scheduling tool, a completed payment or deposit reserves your session but does not set a time; Mars will follow up by email within one to two business days to schedule.

• All cancellations and reschedule requests must be made by email or over the phone.

• If a client needs to cancel or reschedule, at least 24 hours notice is required to avoid forfeiting the session fee.

• If Mars needs to cancel or reschedule, she will provide at least 24 hours notice, and the client will be offered a new time.

• There are no refunds after a session is completed, or after a recorded session has been delivered.

• Each session holds a full block of time (30 minutes, 45 minutes, or 1 hour, depending on what was booked). If a client chooses to end a session early, no partial refund is given for the unused time.

• In person sessions outside a 15 mile radius may include an added travel fee, confirmed with the client before the session is scheduled.

4. Acknowledgment and Release of Liability By completing checkout, or by replying to confirm a booking, I acknowledge that I have read, understood, and accepted this agreement. To the fullest extent permitted by law, I release and hold harmless Marsena “Mars” Holsopple and Wake and Witness from any and all claims, demands, damages, or causes of action, present or future, arising out of or connected to my participation in a session.
